Una soluzione software ai brick per Firmware 3.55 e inferiore da Gitbrew

Direttamente dai ragazzi di Gitbrew ecco arrivare un'altra lieta notizia: hanno infatti da poco rilasciato una soluzione software (consistente in due file lv2diag.self e PS3UPDAT.PUP) per poter sbrickare le PS3 che avevano Firmware minore o uguale al 3.55 e che hanno brickato durante un aggiornamento.

Il metodo è ancora in BETA e non è testato al 100%, inoltre non si sa se funziona con tutti i tipi di brick.
Se avete una PS3 brickata che era a Firmware 3.55 o inferiore non vi resta che provare, più danni di quelli che già ha non potete certo farne xD

Beta brick fixing

This is a beta tool. It has only be tested on otheros++ nand bricks and some pup updater file errors.

This hasn’t been 100% tested, though we’re looking for people to try it to see what bricks it will actually fix.

Tutorial

1. Put both files into the root directory of a flash drive.

2. Put the dongle into the ps3 while it is off and start it.

3. If the flash drive is activated it can be fixed using this.

4. If it however does not, the only fix for it until a software side is found is a hardware flasher.

Quando mettevi un CFW(Custom Firmware = Hack) c'era la possibilità di Brick...cioè la play diventava un mattone. Non si accendeva più,trovare un metodo anti brick è una cosa portentosa
